Intern Orientation

Our incoming residents spend their first two weeks in Las Vegas getting to know each other, the faculty, staff and our hospital during Intern Orientation​. Emergency medicine intern on-boarding at UNLV is transformed into one of the highlights of the intern year, as the new emergency medicine residents are afforded numerous opportunities to bond as a class during Fire Day, Ballistics Training, and hiking Mt. Charleston, along with hospital and GME orientation activities. In addition, the EM faculty deliver high-yield core content lectures and direct skills training labs in order to prepare the residents for clinical practice.
